George Wythe writes to the King's Attorney General, John Randolph, for information about cases the AG had against a person named Twitty. An inscription signed "J.R." at the bottom of Wythe's letter was likely written by Randolph to his clerk or secretary.

Be pleased, Sir, to let me know if you have the bills with cases of the attorney general against Twitty and others. I understand they are not in the secretary's office. A person considerably affected by one of the writs, hath come to town to inquire about, and to learn what progress hath been made in the matter
